And I'm Jim Frost, a keen hiker, traveller and part time taker of pictures. Hailing originally from the Isle of Man I have lived in the north east of Scotland for around thirty years. Being out and about in the hills, exploring the world or listening to the sound of the sea is how I spend my time away from work.

Over the years my pictures have been used in international wildlife guides, the British national and local press and also by the BBC on various programmes and publications. On here you can see a selection of some of my latest, and favourite pictures, that I have taken to give you an idea of what else you will find. Consisting of pictures taken with cameras, drones and telescopes the landscapes and the wildlife found in the Cairngorms feature mainly as well as some taken from as near as my back garden to as far as the other side of the globe.
